A line of brand new 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06's ready to be picked up.

A buyer can select the option to pick up their Corvette in the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The car is delivered from the factory across the street to the museum, where it will be displayed on the day that the buyer will receive it. The buyer gets the red carpet treatment the entire day, including a private guided tour of the factory and a very complete familiarization with their vehicle before they drive off. It looked like a great program. But when you're spending $60K+, you'd better be treated right.

Me, I've never been a huge fan of Corvette's, except for the '50's-60's C1 and C2 generation models. But after walking through the museum, I have a new appreciation for the sexy lines of each of the generations.

For more Corvette goodness, look at my Flickr slideshow.

Cars are usually boring subjects, but you composed this shot extremely well and maximized your surroundings (the reflections make this shot amazing).

The beauty's in the details, no matter what the subject. But even moreso with cars.

The museum knows that and built it to emphasize.

Thank you! :D

Thank you, Perry!

This was one of those that immediately struck me. I had already put my camera away so we could rush over to the factory tour. I came to a grinding halt, asked my wife to stand watch over the camera bag, swapped lenses and fired away. The two guys sitting on the bench next to me looked at me like I was nuts, firing off about 15 shots, each with different focus points and slightly different angles. Something they'd never understand.

I love seeing my shots that way, knowing from beginning to end that it's exactly what you want.

That's great! I really love the reflections on the hoods of the car, and how each car - progressively - becomes more out of focus. Great job

I take pictures to remind everyone that they are having a good time and living a good life. Also, to point out all the beauty around us they're missing.
