Description
A newly married bride, posing for her wedding pictures in the gate leading to Meiji Shrine's inner courtyard. Finely woven kimono contrasts nicely with time-worn wood.
She was absolutely hilarious. She spoke very good English and kept talking to her American groom throughout these sessions. She kept this smile on her face, yet complained about how she possibly couldn't smile any more. Then she'd complain about how hot she was (I don't blame her) and how she couldn't wait to get out of the kimono. Later on, as the crowd grew, she cracked that maybe they should pass the money box around for a collection.
I would have contributed.
