Not much new to tell since the last post.

Biggest news is with prints. Some folks have asked about my prints, which I've essentially pulled from dA. Longtime watchers know why and I'm not interested in detailing it here.

Anyway, I've been working with another service, which has been phenomenal so far. A far different experience than I've had here.

So, if you're interested, browse on over to my Smugmug page and have a look around. I've done my best to keep the prices in line with I had here on dA, which I thought were set pretty fair to begin with. Also, if you browse through the galleries, you'll find many shots that were never posted here.

And if you're interested in more words, browse on over to my blog.

Looks pretty cool Bill. Have you actually received any of the prints? Is the quality and color control up to par?

I might have to try it out, I kinda want a clean cut place to sell prints to the outside world. I am at dA for the community more than for their services, and it just feels weird giving out my dA URL to potential clients.

Ben, I've yet to receive my copies, so I can't verify the quality. Although I do have some hanging up on my wall from a friend who lives in Japan and I can vouch for the quality of those. But Smugmug has switched printers since those prints were made, so I suspect it's different.

Agree with your thoughts on handing out a clean-cut url to clients. Regardless of how highly certain folks here think of their service, it doesn't change the look on a client's face when they read the url on your card.

I'll let you know how the prints look when I get them.

The prints look very cool, thanks for the heads up to that site! I look forward to ordering some for myself and my girl, when we're not so poor :/
