Time to clear that election-related rant. Time to move on. And no, I'm not excited about the results. I wouldn't be excited about any of them - they're all politicians and tell us what they think we want to hear.

Anyway...

For the majority of Earth's religions, this is a season of holidays.

So whatever your beliefs, whether you believe or not, I hope that you have a relaxing season surrounded by those that mean the most to you.

:) I'm in agreement with you Bill. They are all the same...mostly. I'm only happy about the election because...well, it was pretty darn historical, and we lived to see it.

I don't know if this is the place to put this comment, but I feel a need to mention it somewhere… and your journal seems like a good place… Even though I'm not an American citizen, I can relate to the American politics, and I too have favorites, etc. and have criticisms too. But here and there on DA in the last year, I have run into comments about president Bush that made me very unhappy (which is all the more strange because I'm not an American). He seemed like a good human being to me. He seemed like he was trying to do right for the country. And yet, some people related to him as if he was the lowest and vilest criminal. Well, I'm glad the election is over, and hope everyone will go back to having respect for all his fellows.

And best wishes to all for happy holidays, and a beautiful winter!

I am home. Have been for a bit over a month now. Settled in and moving on with things. Getting ready to hit the road for the holidays. Hopefully some relaxing will be involved too.
