Just getting back online. We moved to Germany in early June and have just got our internet hooked up.  It's been a wonderful summer here and we've spent most days outside until sunset (10:30pm in June/July). So no need for internet.  Or TV.  Or phone. But now it's cooling down, autumn is here and the trees are changing quickly.  Soon it will be winter with just 8 hours of sunlight a day. I trust all is well with each of you. ~bill

Gotta get rid of that last journal.  It's almost four months old. I've been lurking here the whole time, but honestly don't spend much time on dA anymore.  But I do enjoy the art that y'all continue to share. So what has been going on here?  Quite a lot. Work has kept me very, very busy.  But that's not my life. We enjoyed some live music: AC/DC, B.B. King, and Slipknot. All were great shows. I trained and trained and trained, then ran a 60K Trail Race in March.  I had a great time.  Probably the best time I've had racing in years. Next on the schedule is "just" a marathon at the end of April.  And a week later, a duathlon that is j

Time to clear that election-related rant.  Time to move on.  And no, I'm not excited about the results.  I wouldn't be excited about any of them - they're all politicians and tell us what they think we want to hear. Anyway... For the majority of Earth's religions, this is a season of holidays. So whatever your beliefs, whether you believe or not, I hope that you have a relaxing season surrounded by those that mean the most to you. :peace:
